Avenue Hotel Copenhagen

AvenueHotelCopenhagen

During our Copenhagen Trip we stayed at the gorgeous Avenue Hotel in the heart of the Danish Capital. The beauty and comfort of this hotel was
the icing of our vacation-cake! Welcome-Cocktail, an Open Fireplace, Minibar and Missoni Bedspreads, what more can you ask for? See yourself:

The modern boutique hotel offers 68 rooms (standard or superior) and a relaxing lounge with an open fireplace!
The hotel’s philosophy is to make you feel at home and I could experience that Avenue Feeling in every room
Thx to Mr. Viscovich & Jens who made this happen! I will definitely come back!!

LOCATION
It’s just a few steps away from the Forum Metro Station and we only walked about 10 minutes
to the centre (there are a lot of nice houses & cafés along the way).
a good Japanese restaurant is just round the corner and you’ll get yummy pizza across the street.

ROOMS
we stayed at the Superior Double Room and it couldn’t get any better!
A spacious room with a wonderful oriel and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever
slept in. design fans might have noticed the Missoni Bedspread and the nice room key.
the sofa is heavenly cosy and the mini-bar (included in the room rate) is dangerously well-equipped!
another highlight is the Smart TV with wireless internet access (I’ve never updated my Facebook status
on such a huge screen - wooot)! only the bathroom could have more shelf space and the ventilation wasn’t working
but this wasn’t a problem at all. I loved the lighting in the room and and my morning windowsill stalking.

BREAKFAST
the buffet offers everything for a delicious breakfast
fresh-baked bread & homemade müesli
pancakes & croissants
greek yoghurt and lots of  cheese
a variety of vegetables & fresh fruits
one word: YUMMY

SERVICE
the staff is warmhearted, kind and very helpful!
you can park your car at the hotel or rent a bike
you immediately feel welcome and they are pleased to answer you any question regarding your stay
the hotel also has a small shop with lots of cute souvenirs
at the luggage room you can store your suitcases after check-out and enjoy the city for
a couple of hours before heading to the airport. no luggage worries and schlepping!
not to forget this über-yummy Welcome Cocktail we got!!! soooo good! props to the bartender!

PS. I just added some new items to my Tictail Store - check it out here!
